UPSC CSE 2025 Final Result Out: Topper List, Key Highlights, and What It Means for Aspirants

UPSC CSE Final Result 2025 Live Updates: Union Public Service Commission has released the result for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) final result 2025 on March 6. This year Anuj Agnihotri is topper for the exam. Anuj is an alumnus of AIIMS Jodhpur. The candidates can check their results from the official websites of the Commission i.e. Upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

The top three of the UPSC came out as a diversified set-an MBBS doctor in first position (Anuj Agnihotri), an engineer in the second (Rajeshwari Suve M), and a commerce graduate in third place (Akansh Dhull).

As many as 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Railways Personnel Service, and Central Services - Group 'A' and Group 'B'. Candidature of 348 recommended candidates is provisional and result of two is withheld, said UPSC while announcing UPSC CSE 2025 result.

The preliminary stage of examination took place on May 25, 2025, followed by the main exam which was held from August 22 to August 31, 2025. Personality test or interviews concluded on February 27, 2026, and normally the results are declared within a week of ending interviews according to the past trend of UPSC.

For previous cycles, the time line between finishing the interviews and declaring the result is almost the same. For 2024 cycle the interviews concluded on April 17, 2025, while result was declared on April 22. For 2023 results interviews ended on April 9, 2024 and final result was declared on April 16. For 2022 the result came on May 23, 2023 and interviews finished on May 18, 2023.

The UPSC CSE Final Result 2025 has been released in a PDF format on the official website of the UPSC under the 'Final Result' section which contains the list of recommended candidates in order of merit by name and roll number.
