Transgender Community Protests at Bhubaneswar AG Square Over Brutal Murder

Bhubaneswar: After a transgender person was brutally killed in the capital city of Odisha yesterday, the transgender group took to the streets today to demand the arrest of the killer. They blocked the road at Airport Chhaka, AG Chhaka, and the Capital Hospital Chhaka, where they also protested.

After the autopsy, the group went out into the street. They have blocked the road and are asking for the murderer to be arrested, the Crime Branch to look into the case, and Rs 10 lakh to be paid to the family of the dead person.

At the same time, the Pipili police are looking into the murder. At the murder scene, the police are getting help from a scientific team and a search dog.

The uncle, relatives, and friends of the deceased in the village of Biswanathpur in the Salepur block of Bahugram panchayat have all said something about it. They said he was a great guy. He was a yoga teacher and taught yoga in many places in the area. He was also very smart. They have asked the government to look into why he was killed in depth, find out the real reason, and punish those responsible.

But her yoga students and family members have not said that the dead person is transgender.
