IPL auction 2026: A complete list of players who will be up for bid on December 16

The IPL auction will be held in Abu Dhabi on December 16. There will be 350 cricketers up for bid, 240 of whom are Indian.

There are 1,390 players signed up for the auction.  The number was cut down to 1,005 players, and then 350 were chosen to fight for 77 spots across the 10 teams in the 19th edition of the world's biggest T20 league. 31 of these spots were for players from other countries.

There are 224 uncapped Indian players and 14 uncapped overseas players in the pool. This adds a lot of depth and new talent to this year's auction roster.

Of the 350 names, 40 cricketers have chosen the highest base price bracket of ₹2 crore. 227 uncapped domestic players have set their base price at ₹30 lakh, which is the lowest of the eight available brackets.

The highest reserve price is still ₹2 crore, and 40 players have chosen to enter the auction in this bracket.
