IND vs SA 2nd T20I Highlights: Quinton de Kock Shines as South Africa Beat India by 51 Runs in Mullanpur to square series 1-1

Highlights from the second T20I between India and South Africa:  On Thursday, South Africa beat India by 51 runs in the second T20I at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh.  So, after the second game, the South African team led by Aiden Markram tied the five-match T20I series at one game each.

India lost openers Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, and captain Suryakumar Yadav in just four overs while trying to chase down 214. They never looked like they could beat South Africa's tough target.

Gill was out for a golden duck in the first over, and then Marco Jansen bowled a beautiful outswinger to get Abhishek out in the second. Suryakumar couldn't do much either; after scoring just five runs, he edged a ball behind to keeper Quinton de Kock.  Tilak Varma fought back, but the lower order fell apart under the pressure, and India was out for 162.

South Africa batted first and scored 213 runs in 20 overs, thanks to Quinton de Kock's 90 runs and David Miller and Donovan Ferreira's strong performances in the last few overs.

India did well in the first T20I, but everyone will be watching captain Suryakumar Yadav and his deputy Shubman Gill, who are going through a rough patch.  Even though they haven't been playing well, other players on the team have been able to consistently deliver to help the team win.  But for India to keep their title, their best players will have to start playing well.

When South Africa was put under pressure on Tuesday, their batting completely fell apart.  They also have a lot of power in their batting order, which can win the game for them on any given day.  But their bowling did look a little rusty in that first game, giving up 15 to 20 runs too many on that pitch.
